PRIVACY POLICY

Hike Private Limited (“Hike”/ "we") respects the privacy of its users (“you”/”your”/”user”) who access the ‘Stickers by Hike’ application (the “Application”) and is committed to protecting it in all respects. 

We take commercially reasonable steps to ensure that privacy of the user is protected and no information given by the user is utilized in any manner whatsoever which could directly or indirectly result in any harm to the user or which would constitute a breach of privacy.

This Privacy Policy is an electronic record in the form of an electronic contract formed under the information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic documents / records in various statutes as amended by the information Technology Act, 2000. This Privacy Policy does not require any physical, electronic or digital signature and is a legally binding document between You and Hike. 

This privacy policy provides an overview about how we process your data in relation to the services that we provide on the Application (the “Service”), and the steps that we take to safeguard it.

INFORMATION COLLECTION

While using our Service/Application, you are not required to provide any personal identifying information such as your name, picture, email id, physical address etc. that can be used to contact or identify you. 

For using our Service/Application we require you to provide certain information that  includes, but is not limited to: Log Data and Cookies.

Log Data

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Application or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device ("Log Data").

This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on the Application, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, this Log Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.

We use tracking technologies including integrating with third party partners to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

USAGE OF INFORMATION

We do not sell the information that is collected on the Application with any third parties for use for commercial, advertising and or similar marketing purposes.

We use the collected data for various purposes:

• to provide Services or facilitate access to Services and to allow you to use the Services offered by the Application;
• to monitor, detect and deter unauthorized or fraudulent use of, or abuse of, Services;
• to improve and/or optimize the Services;
• to audit usage of the Application and in business analytics;
• to enable us to provide customer support, and to respond effectively to your inquiries and claims;
• to conduct user surveys;
• to measure the effectiveness of advertisements that we place on the Internet or in other media (where applicable);
• to notify you of any other important information regarding Services, if necessary; and
• to comply with applicable laws or legal obligations.

You agree that Hike has the right to monitor the Application electronically from time to time and to disclose information as may be necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or other governmental or judicial request, to operate the Application properly for justified purposes that are relevant for the features and functionalities of the Application and Services opted by You, or to protect itself or its users. 

We may transfer the information collected, stored, processed by Hike to any other entity or organization located in India or outside India only in case it is necessary for providing Services to You in connection with Application or is mandated by law. 

This Privacy Policy does not create rights enforceable by third parties.

SHARING OF INFORMATION

We may share your personal information outside of Hike if we believe in good faith that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to:

• Meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
• Enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.
• Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or any technical issues.
• Protect against harm the rights, property or safety of Hike, its users, or the public as required or permitted by law.
• Respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights (including intellectual property rights) of third parties.

SECURITY OF INFORMATION

We have implemented commercially reasonable physical, managerial, operational and technical security measures to protect the loss, misuse and alteration and to preserve the security of the data that we collect. Our security practices and procedures limit access to personal information on a ‘need to know’ basis only.

Such measures may include, where appropriate, the use of firewalls, secure server facilities, implementing proper access rights management systems and processes, careful selection of processors, standard authentication and encryption policies for Hike’s servers (including third parties) and other technically and commercially reasonable measures.

However, Hike cannot provide any guarantee in any way with respect to any information that is transmitted, shared or collected or processed by the Application, and You acknowledge that you do so at Your own risk.

Using unsecured or other unprotected networks to use any features through the Application is not recommended.

Capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy but not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to it given under our Terms of Service.

CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

Any changes in the Privacy Policy shall be posted on our Application so that the users are always aware of what information we collect, use, and under what circumstances, if any, we may disclose it. Once posted, those changes are effective immediately. Continued access or use of the Application and/or the Services constitutes Your acceptance of the changes and the amended Privacy Policy.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We make no claims, promises or guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or adequacy of the contents available through the Application and expressly disclaims liability for errors and omissions in the contents available through the Application.

No warranty of any kind, implied, expressed or statutory, including but not limited to the warranties of non-infringement of third party rights, title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and freedom from computer virus, is given with respect to the contents available through the Application.
